Anyone can call Lifeline. The 13 11 14 service offers a counselling service that respects everyone’s right to be heard, understood and cared for. They also provide information about other support services that are available in communities around Australia.
Lifeline telephone counsellors are ready to talk and listen no matter how big or how small the problem might seem. They are trained to offer emotional support in times of crisis or when callers may be feeling down.
A peer support and social group for mature age gay men in the Sydney area. They hold guest speaker nights, social nights, special occasion party nights, organise harbour cruises and overseas adventure trips, as well as support services.
South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health (SESIAH) Sexual Health Clinic provides a wide range of outpatient services for the following issues: sexually transmissible disease, HIV/AIDS, sexuality, gender identity, sexual function, contraception, colposcopy, management of chronic vulval disease and exposure to blood borne viruses. Service providers include doctors, nurses and counsellors. Inpatient services are provided for HIV/AIDS.
A Gay and Lesbian social club established within the Illawarra region. Unity convenes regular meetings, holds dances and arranges diner & social outings etc.
